About

Clayton has been in and around gyms and training centers for 25+ years, a personal trainer since 2015 and has been active in competitive lifting as both coach and lifter since 2012. He started training some 25 years ago as a way to gain size, strength, and confidence and his love for the gym kept going. After an accident in 2014 that left him with two herniated discs and multiple facial injuries that required 7 procedures, he had to basically start over at the bottom. With the aid of his chiropractor, neurologist, and physical therapist, it took a year-long battle to get back into the gym to reclaim what he once had and that ultimately led him into pursuing his PT license. And, even though his love for competitive lifting was put on hold due the disc issues, he decided to add strength coach to his resume.

Old Breed Strength Club is not large. It’s not overly crowded. It’s not packed with equipment. It’s a small-scale training facility with hand-picked machines and a dedicated lifting area. It’s designed to help you get to where you want to go. No mess. No fuss. Just pure strength. So start your journey with us today.

OLD BREED STRENGTH CLUB is a modern gym with an old-school mentality. No frills (well, maybe a few frills) and a strong commitment to meeting people where they are and helping them get stronger is how we work here. We make space for our members to gain strength both mentally and physically. Whether it’s pure lifting via squat, bench, and deadlift, or the use of the varied, and well-chosen, machines, one can strive.

We’ve built a gym for everyone. For experienced and competitive lifters, beginners in search of direction and personal training, recovery or corrective and anyone who wants better health. Old Breed also has a lifting team that competes in sanctioned events including USPA and WRPF and is always looking to add more team members to its roster.

Started in January of 2022 by personal trainer & lifting coach, Clayton, his vision was a simple one: to create a safe, clean, accessible, and dedicated place for people to work out, get stronger, leaner, and learn a few things about better health. From this vision, Old Breed was born.
